DUI CHARGES

Police report the following driving under the influence:

• State police at Schuylkill Haven said Kevin J. Kennedy, of Port Carbon, was driving a 2000 Dodge Durango northbound on Route 901 in Foster Township at 9:16 p.m. Monday, when he failed to negotiate a right curve in the road. The Durango crossed over the centerline into the southbound lanes where it went onto the west berm, then hit a large rock and an embankment.

The Durango rolled over and came to rest on its right side against a tree. Kennedy was taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital - Pottsville Campus. Charges are pending, troopers said.

• State police at Fogelsville said Justin William Ternosky, 36, of New Tripoli, was stopped at 1:05 a.m. on March 23 on private property in the area of 8487 Carpet Road, in Weisenburg Township. He was found to be under the influence of alcohol and in possession of a small amount of marijuana.

He was taken into custody and charges of DUI and drug possession have been filed, troopers said.

• State police at Schuylkill Haven said James Allen Huntsinger, 64, of Minersville, crashed his vehicle along Route 209, just west of Southwest Lawn Road, in Branch Township, about 5 p.m. on Jan. 14. He was found to be under the influence of alcohol, troopers said.

Charges have been filed.
