Teen charged for graffiti

A teenager who defaced homes and vehicles with vulgarity and pictures of male genitalia will face juvenile charges, according to police.

The vandalism occurred in the Mount Pocohontas development in Penn Forest Township between 3 and 5 p.m. March 19.

Police said the 15-year-old suspect spray-painted the words and images on five cars and three garage doors.

One of the victims caught the teen in the act. The 15-year-old later admitted to spray painting the vehicles.

Charges were filed through the Carbon County Juvenile Probation Office.
