Police pick up Tamaqua man wanted in domestic abuse case
Shane Evans, 30, of Tamaqua, who was wanted on an outstanding warrant in connection with a domestic abuse case, was picked up by police on May 19.
Officers responding to tips found Evans in the Schuylkill Avenue area shortly before 10 a.m.
When taken into custody, Evans admitted having five needles and a spoon with residue on his person.
The items were confiscated and Evans was transported to the Schuylkill County Prison in Pottsville.
He also faces charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.
