Jim Thorpe arrests
Jim Thorpe police reported on the following arrests made by officers.
• Stacy Ann Kroculick, 50, of W. Fifth St., Jim Thorpe, has been charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance - marijuana and oxycodone; unlawful possession of a controlled substance - oxycodone, marijuana, methamphetamine and suboxone; unlawful purchase of a controlled substance - methamphetamine and suboxone; and possession of drug paraphernalia. Kroculick allegedly sold numerous drugs during April.
• Jeffrey Curtis Rider, 54, homeless, has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct for an incident on May 6, at 1:34 p.m. Police were dispatched to the 400 block of School Street for a suspicious male. Upon arrival police encountered Rider, who was acting in an erratic manner and was taken into custody. Police later found a controlled substance in Rider's possession.
• Benjamin D. Sasso, 26, of South St., Jim Thorpe, has been charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct for an incident on May 20, at 10:50 p.m. Police were summoned to Sasso's residence for an active domestic incident. Upon arrival police learned that Sasso had punched a woman several times in the face which caused heavy swelling and bleeding. Sasso was placed under arrest and taken to the county prison in Nesquehoning under $25,000, 10 percent bail.
