Slatington arrests

Slatington police reported on the following arrests.

• On Aug. 30 at 8:37 p.m. police responded for a welfare check at 31 Dowell St. On scene Marcus Hendershot, 26, of that address, was found to be in possession of marijuana, heroin and methamphetamine along with a large amount of cash.

As a result he has been charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• On Aug. 9 at 12:22 a.m. police responded to a reported fight in the area of 5 N. Seventh St. As a result of an investigation a 13-year-old girl has been charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and harassment. The charges will be filed through the county juvenile probation office.

• On July 29 at 11:50 p.m. police responded to a drug complaint in the area of 125 S. Walnut St. As a result of an investigation Austin Stevens, 21, of 7192 Route 873, Slatington, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
