No injuries in two-car crash
Two drivers escaped injuries in a crash at 12:09 p.m. Sept. 2 at the intersection of Forest Inn and Hahn's Dairy roads in Lower Towamensing Township.
State police at Lehighton said the mishap occurred when a 2006 Hyundai Accent operated by Johnna L. Hough, 21, of Palmerton, emerged from the intersection, attempting to make a left-hand turn onto the southbound lane of Forest Inn Road and the front end of the vehicle struck a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt operated by Kathryn R. Borger, 72, of Lehighton.
The latter was northbound on Forest Inn Road and approaching Hahn's Dairy Road when Hough pulled into the intersection.
Police said Hough was cited in the crash.
