Driver uninjured after car rolls over

Erasmo Gil Gil, 27, of Hazleton, escaped injury in a one-vehicle crash at 8:47 p.m. Sept. 2 on Route 100 in Lowhill Township, according to state police at the Fogelsville barracks.

Police said he was driving a 1999 Lexus ES300 southbound when he lost control of the vehicle. It struck an embankment on the right shoulder of the roadway and rolled over several times before coming to a final rest.

Police said he was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed.
