Teen facing theft count

A 17-year-old male juvenile is facing a theft count following an incident that occurred about 1:18 pm. Sept. 12 in the area of 2105 E. Lizard Creek Road, in East Penn Township, Carbon County.

State police at Lehighton said the teen was observed removing scrap metal from the property without the permission of the owner.
