FX Makeup class in Tamaqua

Just in time for Halloween, the Tamaqua Community Art Center, 125 Pine St., Tamaqua, is sponsoring a class in Special FX Makeup at 6 p.m. Oct. 3.
Participants will learn how to create realistic wounds and bruises; how to work with applying and blending liquid latex; and several other tips, including how to create fake blood and 3D gel at home.
Students will need to bring a foundation makeup that matches their skin tone.
