2019 general election: Borough council seats are determined in Summit Hill

Four people won four-year terms in balloting Tuesday for positions on the Summit Hill Borough Council.

The winners are all incumbent Democrats and include Karen Ruzicka, who appeared on both ballots and collected 672 votes; David A. Wargo, who netted 640 votes; Michael Kokinda II, 568; and Gregory V. Kosciolek, 551.

Failing to win was Republican Joe Kossie Kosalko, who tallied 486 votes.

In balloting for a two-year term, Kokinda was a 455 to 444 winner over Wargo.
