2019 general election: Packer voters seat three supervisors
Three supervisors’ seats in Packer Township were determined in Tuesday’s general election.
In two of the races — for terms of six years and two years — there were contested races.
For the six-year term, Republican Robert B. Selert defeated Democrat Paul W. Bray by a vote of 235 to 152.
For the two-year term, the winner was Republican Corey Gerhard. He defeated Democrat John Floyd Jr., 300 to 103.
Terry Davis, another Republican, was unopposed in his bid for the four-year term and received 349 token votes.
Packer voters were also slated to elect someone to the six-year term on the township’s board of auditors but there were not candidates. However, 13 write-in votes that were received will be reviewed to determine the winner of that seat.
