45 Speeder cars visit Tamaqua as part of two-day county tour

About 45 speeder railcars arrived in Tamaqua on Sunday at 11 a.m. as part of a two-day tour of Schuylkill County by members of the North American Railcar Operators Association. The former rail maintenance cars are privately owned by railfans from across the country. Club members say they enjoy taking in the scenery from the unusual perspective of the rails.
