Abigail Yusella and Colin Johnson

The engagement of Abigail Yusella, of Summit Hill, to Colin Johnson, of Nesquehoning, has been announced by her parents.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of David and Debbie Yusella of Summit Hill. She is a 2015 graduate of Panther Valley High School. She is a student at Neumann University majoring in sport management. She will graduate next year.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Mark and Danine Shanton of Nesquehoning and Todd Johnson of Lehighton. He is a 2015 graduate of Panther Valley High School, and is currently a student at Norwich University where he is majoring in civil engineering. He will graduate next year.

He is also on the commissioning track for the U.S. Army.

A wedding is planned for May of 2019.
