Advent breakfast planned in Tamaqua

Tamaqua’s Eighth Annual Community Advent Breakfast will be hosted by Zion Lutheran Church beginning at 9 a.m. Dec. 8. The church is at Mauch Chunk and Greenwood streets.

This year’s musical guest will be the Tamaqua High School Jazz Chorale, under the direction of John Buglio. Keynote speaker will be Loren Collura, manager of the Hope and Coffee Shop in Tamaqua.

The breakfast is a project of the Tamaqua Area Faith and Fellowship Network.

Tickets will be available from any TAFFN member or at the Tamaqua Community Arts Center, 125 Pine St., or Tamaqua Chamber of Commerce, 37 W. Broad St., Tamaqua.

No tickets will be sold at the door.
