Alansky headed to PSU-Schuylkill

Macy Alansky, a senior at Marian, will be continuing her academic and athletic career at Penn-State Schuylkill.

A four-year starter on the Fillies basketball team, Alansky averaged 11 points per game this past season and finished with 43 three-pointers.

The guard was a two-time selection to the Lebanon Catholic Christmas Tournament’s All-Tournament Team, and was also named to the Senior All-Star Game.

The daughter of Heather and Scott Alansky of Barnesville, Macy is also a four-year starter on the Marian softball team. She is involved in numerous school activities, including: Homecoming Court, Eucharistic Minister, Green Club, Red Cross Club, Students Against Drunk Driving, and Future Business Leaders of America.

Alansky plans on majoring in radiology.
