Albrightsville man faces assault charges
An Albrightsville man faces assault charges for allegedly choking a woman outside his home.
The alleged incident occurred Sept. 24 around 10 p.m.
John Adam Vanhorn, 50, of Chippewa Drive, was seen by a neighbor on top of a woman on the ground outside his home. The victim yelled that she could not breathe.
State police arrested Vanhorn on charges and sent him to Carbon County Correctional Facility.
He was released on bail. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Oct. 27.
