American Cancer Society auction is Sunday

Are you looking for an afternoon of fun for the whole family with an opportunity to win a variety of prizes? If so you’ll want to come out and support the annual American Cancer Society Telethon Committee Chinese Auction on Sunday.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m. at the historical Lakeside Ballroom, located on Route 54 in Barnesville.
The auction drawing begins at 2:30 p.m. There will be chances to win selective raffle prizes, 50/50 drawings, great food, fresh baked goods and candy, Polka Joe WMGH Live from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Some of the top prizes on the specially purchased “white ticket” include a Dell Inspiron 2-in-1 computer, Drone HD video camera, $1,000 cash prize, Disney Hopper passes, Action Camcorder with remote, Amazon Echo Dot 3 pack, Apple TV, iPad, gift certificate for fuel oil, gas gift card, vacations, movies for a year, 55-inch Smart TV, lottery tickets, fireplace and much more.
Take chances on hundreds of other items. Credit cards are accepted.
Proceeds will be presented at the annual ACS Telethon that airs April 7 and 8 at Penn’s Peak and will broadcast live on BRC TV-13 and Service Electric cable TV.
The public is invited to attend the telethon and enjoy all of the live entertainment.
Tickets are on sale throughout the area.
