Annual Christmas event planned

Carbon County Friends of Animals will host its annual Christmas event at the Carbon Plaza Mall in Lehighton from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 15 and 16.

There will be a Chinese auction, as well as candy sale.

The organization is currently collecting items for the Chinese auction.

If anyone wishes to drop off a donation for the event, they can do so by visiting the shelter at 77 W. 13th St., Jim Thorpe by Nov. 28.
