Antique appraisal event at Palmerton library

The Friends of the Palmerton Area Library are sponsoring an antique appraisal event at the Palmerton Area Library, 402 Delaware Ave. in Palmerton, at 6 p.m. Thursday.

The event will be presented by Victorian Vanities Inc. Professional appraisers will be present to give information about a wide variety of items. They will not appraise jewelry, guns or Nazi memorabilia.

This is a time to dig out your treasures from the garage or attic and finally find out what they are worth. If you wish to have an item appraised, please register in advance by calling the library at 610-826-3424.

There is a fee of $6 to have an item appraised. Attending the program is free and it is open to the public.
