Arbor Day program April 28 in Summit Hill

The Summit Hill Shade Tree Commission will be conducting the Arbor Day program at 10:30 a.m. April 28 in Ludlow Park.

The program will recognize the 150th anniversary of Memorial Day by planting trees in memory of the first Summit Hill veterans killed in World War I, World War II, Korea and Vietnam. These trees are sponsored by the historical society.

Other trees will also be planted in memory of other veterans and residents of Summit Hill.
