Arrests reported
State police at Lehighton reported the following arrests by troopers.
On Friday about 5:50 p.m., troopers responded to Peggy Lane, in Polk Township, Monroe County, for a reported terroristic threats incident. During the investigation, Arthur Seymour, 51, of Kunkletown, was arrested for brandishing a firearm and making verbal threats to a 71-year-old male and a 69-year-old female, both from Brodheadsville.
Troopers said a 37-year-old male from Aquashicola, who they decline to identify, was cited for striking a 35-year-old female, also from Aquashicola, in the upper side of her face with the back of his head following a verbal argument. The incident occurred along Forest Inn Road in Towamensing Township, Carbon County, about 2:10 p.m. on Oct. 25.
A 29-year-old female and a 38-year-old male, both from Weissport, who troopers declined to identify, was arrested following a traffic stop along Interchange Road in Towamensing Township, on Oct. 21 at 2:50 p.m. A consent search was conducted and found in the vehicle was drug paraphernalia and prohibitive offensive weapons. Charges will be filed, troopers said.
