Assault victim flown from W. Mahanoy
State police at Frackville are investigating an assault incident that resulted in a 42-year-old man from Shenandoah being flown to Geisinger Medical Center.
Troopers said at 5:55 a.m. June 11 they responded to the 1100 block of W. Centre St. in West Mahanoy Township for a reported assault. The Troop L Forensic Services unit assisted at the scene with processing evidence. Troopers did not release any other information.
The investigation is continuing.
