Association awards grants to five local teachers

    Five Carbon County teachers recently received educational support grants during the autumn luncheon general meeting of the Carbon Chapter of Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees. Teachers who received educational support grants were Susan Ruotolo, Jim Thorpe/Penn-Kidder campus; Kirsten Matalavage, Panther Valley Intermediate School; Katie Leach, Weatherly Area School District; Lori Rodgers, Weatherly Area School District; and Andrea Olock, Palmerton Area School District.
