Audtitions coming up for Shawnee summer season

Auditions for ages 7 through adult will be held for the 2018 summer season at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. March 23 and 24.

To audition, you must be prepared with a song, at least 16 bars, of your choice. There will be no accompanist provided. You can either sing a cappella or with a CD (there will be a CD player provided). Please make sure the CD has music only — no vocals.

You do not have to sing a song from the show that you are auditioning for.

Please provide a head shot and resume if you have one.

Children will be asked to audition without a parent present. Parents will be asked to wait in the holding room and will not be allowed to listen outside the audition room.

Auditions are for the following:

• “Honk Jr.”

• “Disney’s The Lion King Experience Jr.”

• “Willie Wonka Jr.”

• “The Pirates of Penzance” (ages 14 and older)

• “Footloose” (ages 14 and older)
