Barry Isett & Associates welcomes new hires
Barry Isett & Associates Inc., a multidiscipline engineering firm with an office in Stroudsburg, has hired new additions to several departments.
Tomasz “Tom” Slowik, of Albrightsville, joined the forensics department as a senior forensics engineer. His professional experience focuses on structural design, building investigations, and renovations.
He previously worked with ADG Engineering, of Newark, New Jersey, where he served as a project manager. Slowik has a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering, as well as a master’s in engineering through the City College of New York.
Brandon Pfaff, of Quakertown, has joined the Codes Department as an inspector serving the Bucks County region. He is an active volunteer with the West End Fire Co. in Quakertown.
In addition to serving his community, Pfaff accumulated more than five years of experience in construction and carpentry and has developed a professional background in restoration, remodeling and fire protection.
Stephen “Steve” Angstadt, of Mohnton, joined the MEP Department as a senior project manager. A mechanical engineer, Angstadt has more than 27 years of experience in building HVACs, plumbing and fire protection design, with additional experience in new facilities, additions and renovations.
Before joining Isett, Angstadt worked at Worth and Company, of Pipersville, as an engineering manager. He holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering.
Raymond “Ray” Leary, of Swoyersville, joined the PMCS Department as a project manager. Before joining Isett, he served as a project manager for H&K Group in Hazleton.
In addition to his education in architectural and civil engineering, he has undergone extensive professional training and holds certifications through several outlets including PennDOT, National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies, Northeast Center of Excellence for Pavement Technology, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
