Beaver Meadows man found with over 37 grams of methamphetamine

Published February 14. 2020 08:52AM

A Beaver Meadows man faces multiple drug charges after a Jan. 23 incident.

Joseph McTiernan, 35, was charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia by McAdoo police.

Police served a search warrant on East Grant Street in reference to a theft investigation. A backpack was recovered during a search which contained a picture of McTiernan, along with more than 37 grams of crystal-like material that tested positive for methamphetamine.

A digital scale, many small zippered bags and a glass tube with residue were also found. A search of McTiernan’s wallet was recovered with a dollar bill containing powder, which he told police was methamphetamine.

Another outstanding pillar of the community, an entrepreneur. Democrats will legalize meth and McTiernan will already have his customer base established.
37 grams? Most are unfamiliar with grams in the US. Unless they're involved somehow in the 'gram scheme' of things...too much meth would be a sufficient description.
