Birthday: Fredericks celebrates 90 years

Mary “Mae” Krajcirik Fredericks, of Lansford, turned 90 this past December. She is the former Mae Krajcirik, daughter of the late Anna “Cabbot” and Tobias Krajcirik, also of Lansford.

Fredericks has 11 brothers and sisters along with several nieces, nephews as well as great-nieces and great-nephews.

Fredericks attended St. Michael Parochial School and graduated from Lansford High. She married the late Howard, “Howie” L. Fredericks. Together they have three children: Gary, husband of Jean Brunda Fredericks of Lansford; Bob, husband of Robin Sweeney Fredericks of Allentown; and Robyn, partner of Tom Bitler of Albrightsville. She has six grandchildren: Matthew, Josh, Lyndsey, Justin, Abbey and Hannah; as well as three great-grandchildren, Avery, Ella and Mackenzie.

A party was held in her honor where she was surrounded by her immediate family.
