Blue Mountain Resort partners with local food pantry

Blue Mountain Resort has again partnered with the West End Food Pantry to provide a free community Christmas festival for residents.

The event will be held from 1-4 p.m. Nov. 30 near the Valley Lodge at the base of Blue Mountain Resort.

Families enjoy treats like free hot dogs, cookies, hot chocolate and s’mores. There is face painting for the kids, free chair lift rides for guests and their families and train rides provided by All About Fun Express.

New this year will be a “Reindeer Food Station,” where Santa arrives not in a sleigh, but on the chair lift. He is expected to bring Frosty and a reindeer or two and is available for pictures when he arrives.

The West End Food Pantry is located inside the Eldred Township Community Center at 516 Kunkletown Road, Kunkletown.
