Bowl for Kids’ Sake set for March 24
The Advisory Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bridge serving Carbon County, will hold its annual fundraiser, Bowl for Kids’ Sake, a Bowl-a-Thon, on March 24 at Fritz’s Lanes and Pro Shop, Second and South streets, Lehighton.
Starting time is 10 a.m., and the last time spot to bowl is 2 p.m.
This fun-filled day provides an opportunity for anyone to join in the Bowl for Kids’ Sake. You are asked to form a team of five bowlers (family, friends, co-workers or neighbors). Each bowler is given a sponsor sheet to secure donations. Raise $50 and you will receive a Bowl for Kids’ Sake T-shirt. The team captain receives a Bowl for Kids’ Sake T-shirt. The team needs only to bowl one game.
Businesses and organizations can be involved by being a lane sponsor at $100, Pin Partner Sponsor at $50 or a Friend of Big Brothers Big Sisters at $25.
Jenna Sargent is the caseworker. She works out of the Stroudsburg office of Big Brothers Big Sisters on a part-time basis.
Volunteers are also needed as board members and as mentors for this program to continue in Carbon County.
