A Brodheadsville man is facing multiple charges as a result of a stolen vehicle/criminal trespass incident that happened at 10:56 p.m. April 3 in Blakeslee.

Pocono Mountain Regional Police said Michael Lee Smith, 32, of the 1300 block of Bunny Lane, is charged with two counts of receiving stolen property and one count each of criminal trespass, possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.

Police were summoned to a residence on Candle Drive to investigate a report of a suspicious vehicle.

When the officers arrived, they did not locate a vehicle at the site, but found a white F-350 pickup truck located down the road. Police said they learned the vehicle was reported stolen to state police at the Lehighton.

Police said they found Smith inside a garage without authorization on Candle Drive and were eventually able to link him to the stolen pickup truck. He was also found to be in possession of other stolen items and methamphetamine.

Smith was taken into custody and transported to the Monroe County Correctional Facility, Snydersville, pending his arraignment.
