A woman injured in a crash over two years ago has died of injuries in that crash.

She was a passenger in a vehicle involved in a crash at 4 p.m. Sept. 29, 2015, along Route 209 in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County.

State police at Fern Ridge said Anatoli Schurawlow, of Brodheadsville, was northbound and approaching a left curve when he fell asleep at the wheel. The passenger side tires of the vehicle went onto the berm and into a ditch. The vehicle then traveled into a grass ditch, striking a tree with its front passenger side engine compartment. The vehicle then deflected off the tree and rotated clockwise and slid to a final rest in the driveway at 1336 Route 209.

Linda Schurawlow was flown by medical helicopter to St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill, following the crash. Anatoli Schurawlow was not injured in the crash.

Grimm said Linda Schurawlow died of complications of head injuries sustained in the crash.
