Cancer support group begins

At 10 a.m. Saturday, Christ Evangelical Free Church is holding a kickoff for its monthly cancer support group for those diagnosed with cancer and their caregivers as well.

The goal is to help provide support to those who are dealing with the disease and how it ravages families and completely disrupts their lives in so many ways.

The group is being run by cancer survivors and former caregivers.

Light refreshments will be provided. The church is at 2420 Blakeslee Blvd. West, Lehighton. Call the office at 570-386-4547 for information.
