Carbon animal shelter looking for yard sale donations

Carbon County Animal Shelter is looking for donations for its upcoming yard sale.

Most items will be accepted as long as they are in good condition. Items that the shelter will not accept include books, televisions, electronics, appliances, large furniture and exercise equipment.

Items can be dropped off at the shelter, located at 63 Broad St., Nesquehoning, off Route 93 on the Broad Mountain, Tuesday through Friday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

The shelter’s yard sale is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 30 and July 1.

All proceeds from the sale benefit the shelter.
