Carbon art league to meet

The Carbon County Art League will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Seventh Moon Day Spa, 701 Bridge St., B103, Lehighton.

The meeting will feature a demonstration by Jay Davenport, local artist and teacher, who will be demonstrating trompe l’oeil techniques for painting water droplets and various wood grains.

This meeting is free to attend. The art league encourage everyone to come and see what it has to offer.

The Carbon County Art League is a nonprofit organization supporting the arts and artists in and around Carbon County.

Monthly meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month.

Membership is encouraged, but the public is welcome to attend any of meetings and learn more about the art community in the region.
