Carbon Chamber plans nonprofit expo

The Carbon Chamber is excited announcing the first nonprofit expo in Carbon County and invites all nonprofit groups to participate.

The expo is an opportunity for nonprofit organizations to share their mission with the community, local businesses and the 2019 Carbon Leadership Class.

The primary goal is to help members of our community understand how they might get involved and support organizations, whether it is as a volunteer, supporter or a member. This expo will also serve as a time to bring all nonprofits together in the county.

The expo is being hosted at the Franklin Township Fire Company, 2440 Fairyland Road, Lehighton, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 9. Entry is free and the fire company kitchen will be open.
