Carbon County commissioners
Carbon County commissioners approved a modification to a Community Development Block grant project in Palmerton.
The modification, approved Thursday, will delete $83,704 from street improvements for South Fourth Street between Delaware Avenue and Alley X and move it to street improvements of Mauch Chunk Road from Church Street to Linden Street.
The board also approved a correction notice for CDBG project dates in Franklin Township and Weissport. The correction changes the intent to request release of funds for phase 1 of the Red Hill Road culvert reconstruction project in Franklin and Bridge Street water and sewer improvements in Weissport from June 21 through July 1. The notice will be posted in various municipal and county buildings.
