Carbon County Commissioners

The Carbon County Commissioners, on Thursday, acted on the following items:

• Hire: Jagur Lynn of Lehighton, summer laborer, Liquid Fuels Summer Program, effective July 1.

• Court appointments: Michael J. Jorda of Kingston and Edyta Masone of Jim Thorpe, probation officers I, adult probation, effective July 8.

• Leave of Absences: Debra J. Evans of Nesquehoning, part-time corrections officer, from July 2 to Aug. 27; and Gary M. Matson of Palmerton, part-time parking/meter attendant, from June 8 to June 30.

There will be no commissioners meeting next week due to the Fourth of July holiday.
