Carbon County court — ARD
Three first-time offenders in the criminal justice system were placed in Carbon County’s Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition probation program on Thursday by President Judge Roger N. Nanovic II.
If a person successfully completes all conditions of the program their record is wiped clean. However, if they fail to complete it or are revoked from it, then they would face trial on all pending charges. A person does not admit guilt in entering the program.
The three were placed for a year on driving under the influence charges.
Brad R. Bowman, 37, of Bowmanstown, was arrested on Jan. 8 by Palmerton police along Delaware Avenue. A test revealed the presence of a controlled substance.

Suzanne L. Petrucci, 38, of Mesa, Arizona, was arrested on Sept. 3, 2017, along Route 903 in Penn Forest Township by state police at Fern Ridge. A test revealed a 0.13 BAC.
