Carbon County court — guilty pleas

Three defendants in pending cases entered guilty pleas before President Judge Roger N. Nanovic in Carbon County court on Monday.

Coreyann Marie Fairchild, 26, of Catasauqua, pleaded to one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

She was arrested on Sept. 29, 2015, by Lehighton police in the area of the Gypsy Hill Garden Apartments.

She was placed on probation for a year and ordered to get a drug and alcohol evaluation and follow any recommendation for treatment.

Christopher Nicholas Evans, 25, of Jim Thorpe, pleaded to one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. A charge of possession of a controlled substance was dropped in a plea bargain.

He was arrested on Sept. 28 by Jim Thorpe police in the 400 block of Fern Street. Police responded to the area to a report of drug activity. Drug paraphernalia and heroin was found.

Nanovic placed him on probation for a year and ordered him to get a drug and alcohol evaluation and zero tolerance for drug and alcohol use.

Kathleen A. Fabian, 34, of Mills, Massachusetts, pleaded to one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

She was arrested on Nov. 23, 2016, by state police at Lehighton at a checkpoint operation at Maury and Fire Tower roads in Penn Forest Township.

She was placed on probation for a year and ordered to get a drug and alcohol evaluation.

Each defendant must also pay court costs of about $1,000 and a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation/parole.
