Carbon County court — parole revocation

Published April 12. 2018 12:13PM

Two defendants had their paroles revoked on petitions filed by the Carbon County Adult Probation Office.

Joshua A. Gundry, 29, of Weatherly, has his parole revoked on a charge of receiving stolen property on petition of probation officer Joseph Bettine for violating conditions by not residing at his approved residence, not making a concerted effort to pay court costs, failing to obtain a drug and alcohol evaluation, failing to complete 50 hours of community service, failing to report to the probation office for a scheduled urine screen and violating the zero-tolerance condition.

Judge Joseph J. Matika resentenced Gundry to serve 160 days in the county prison effective March 10. He was granted work-release privileges.

Matthew Fritzinger, 28, of Slatington, had his parole revoked on a charge of driving under the influence on petition of Bettine. However, since the filing of the petition, Fritzinger completed the conditions noted in the petition of violation and also paid off his court costs.

Judge Steven R. Serfass remanded Fritzinger to the county prison to serve 19 days, which was effective March 16.
