Carbon County planning commission

Carbon County Planning Commission made recommendations on the following proposals during its monthly meeting last week. The commission’s recommendations then go to the municipalities for inclusion with further reviews.

• Mark Stemler of Parryville Properties LLC received plan approval for a proposed lot line revision at 204/210 S. Main St., Parryville. The plans call for combining two lots to create a 0.159-acre lot.

• David Dolinsky received conditional plan rejection for a proposed subdivision at 2 W. Diaz Ave., Nesquehoning. Plans call for subdividing a 0.287-acre lot into two lots.

• Trina Meixsell received conditional plan rejection for a proposed subdivision at 418/420 Franklin Ave., Palmerton. Plans call for subdividing a 0.3674-acre lot into two lots.

• Brittani K. and Lavona A. Schleicher, owners; and Dollar General, applicant, received conditional plan rejection for a proposed subdivision and lot line revision at 1492 W. Lizard Creek Drive in East Penn Township. The plans call for combining two lots owned by the Schleichers to create a 7.45-acre lot, then subdivide 2.3 acres out of that for use by the Dollar General.

• The Schleichers and Dollar General also received conditional plan rejection for the proposed construction of a 9,100-square-foot Dollar General store at 1492 W. Lizard Creek Drive in East Penn Township.
