Slip/fall suit
Linda and Danny Edgar, 318 1/2 N. First St., Lehighton, have filed a civil suit against Dr. Clark C. Hawk, DDC, individually and doing business as Clark Hawk Dentistry, and Pamela A. Clark, 419 N. Sixth St., Lehighton.
The suit states on Aug. 12, 2016, Linda Edgar was a business invitee at the defendants’ property along Sixth Street when, as she was exiting the dentist’s office, she was caused to slip and fall due to irregularity in the ramp system constructed by the defendants, which caused her injuries detailed in the suit.
Negligence is alleged against the defendants and sought are damages in excess of $50,000 on each of four counts.
Loan default
First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union, 257 Brodhead Road, Bethlehem, filed an action against Steven Daniel Williams and Connie A. Kates-Williams, 760 Firehouse Road, Palmerton, alleging they defaulted on a loan and security agreement.
Sought is $12,418.33 plus interest, costs and fees.
