Mortgage foreclosures

The following actions were filed as mortgage foreclosures for alleged defaults on loans.

Colonial Savings, c/o 2626 West Freeway, Fort Worth, Texas, filed against Kristopher J. Kalaf, as administrator of the estate of Kathy Vitanza, deceased, and Carl A. Vitanza, 2017 Route 534, Albrightsville, over property at that address. Sought is $167,162.52 and continuing interest.

Reverse Mortgage Funding, c/o 2900 Esperanza Crossing, Austin, Texas, filed against unknown heirs, successors, assigns, etc., of Betty Jane Snyder, 23 W. White Bear Drive, Summit Hill, and Richard Snyder, known heir, 103 E. Amidon St., Summit Hill, and Judy Fredericks, known heir, 106 E. Hazard St., Summit Hill, over property at 23 West White Bear Drive. Sought is $58,485.55 and continuing interest.

Accident suit

Valerie L. Hutchinson and Henry Porreca Jr., 2207 Lower Lane, Wilmington, Delaware, filed a civil complaint against Gerald J. Reed, 439 Iron St., Lehighton, over an automobile crash.

The suit states on July 25, 2018, Valerie Hutchinsion was driving a 2010 Mercury Mariner westbound on Blakeslee Boulevard Drive East, Mahoning Township, when the defendant was exiting the Aldi store lot and allegedly pulled in front of her. This cause the plaintiff to complete an evasive maneuver, turning right toward the shoulder of the berm and causing her vehicle to collide into a 2017 Lexus operated by Helen M. Prior, 285 Plantation Drive, Lehighton, who was exiting the Aldi store lot behind the defendant.

The suit alleges the defendant failed to yield the right of way and caused the crash. Negligence is alleged against the defendant and sought are damages excess of $50,000.
