Crash suit
Richard M. and Brenda Smellowsky, 102 Broadway, Jim Thorpe, filed a civil action against Judy Ferguson, aka Judy Vazza, 45 Sharpe St., Lansford, over an automobile crash.
The suit states on Feb. 26, 2019, Richard Smellowsky was operating a vehicle eastbound along Broadway, Jim Thorpe, while the defendant was exiting a parking lot in the area of 69 Broadway. The front of the defendant’s vehicle struck the passenger side of the plaintiff’s, causing serious injuries to the plaintiff which are detailed in the suit.
Negligence is alleged against the defendant and sought are damages in excess of $50,000.
