Carbon Democrat meeting to be held

The Carbon County Democrats for Progress will hold its March meeting at the Inn in Jim Thorpe, 24 Broadway, at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. The speaker will be Dan Doubet, executive officer for Keystone Progress.

Election of officers for 2019 will be held.

The group’s membership consists of Democrats who believe that reasonable men and women working together can find solutions to such pressing issues as health care, climate change and unemployment.
