Carbon Navy Club seeks members

The Carbon County Navy Club was chartered in 2009. This year is its 10th anniversary. It is the smallest veterans’ organization in the county and is involved in almost everything pertaining to veterans.

The group meets the last Monday of the month at the Nesquehoning VFW, 500 E. Center St. Dues are $15 a year.

Serving in peacetime or war does not matter, you’re welcome here: Navy, Marine or Coast Guard. Everyone else can join as associate members. The group could use some younger members and new ideas.
