Carbon teen jailed in stabbing incident

A Carbon County teen has been jailed in a reported stabbing incident.

State police at Lehighton said troopers responded to a residence along Rueben Circle, Towamensing Township, on at 6:55 p.m. Sept 15 because of an argument. On scene troopers learned that Thomas Hosler, 18, and a 42-year-old man, both from Palmerton, were involved. Hosler attempted to stab the man with a pocket knife.

Hosler was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault with a weapon. Records indicate Hosler is currently an inmate in the county prison in Nesquehoning.
