Cases of identity theft reported
State police at Lehighton reported on the following incidents:
• A 67-year-old resident of Forest Inn Road in Towamensing Township, Carbon County, reported an identitiy theft. The incident was reported April 18.
• On May 8 troopers responded to a residence along Thomas Jefferson Road in East Penn Township, Carbon County. A 72-year-old man made a complaint about an unauthorized use of a vehicle and credit card incident.
