Cassidy graduates from basic training

U.S. Air Force Airman Wyatt D. Cassidy graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio.

The airman completed an intensive eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills.

He also recently completed a 12-week course in propulsion maintenance for F16 aircraft at Sheppard AFB, Texas.

Cassidy is the son of Heather and Patrick Cassidy of Jim Thorpe and is a 2019 honors graduate of the Carbon Career & Technical Institute.

His next assignment will be at Shaw AFB in South Carolina.
