CCED to host event

Members of the Carbon Chamber and Economic Development Corporation can attend a program entitled, “Grateful Leadership Using the Power of Acknowledgment to Engage, Motivate and Inspire.”

Presented by Carbon County Women in Business, the event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Dean Anthony’s, 1122 North St., Jim Thorpe.

The event includes lunch, the program, and a special edition copy of Judy Ulmas’ Book, “Power of Acknowledgment.”

It will also include Special Leadership Training with Ulmas, senior vice president, author and trainer from the International Institute for Learning Inc., of New York.

A portion of the luncheon’s proceeds will benefit the Anastasia Susko Memorial Fund.
